This is just amazing Carole: Soft and delicate but at the same time powerful and strong. What a great effect that one apple is separated with its shadow. Very well executed work!

That says it all, Carole.......I can barely tell the difference! It was a fantastic painting, and still is. Such lovely natural colours, and more pleasing than the real thing in many ways.
