Very effective and very clever, nice one Carole

Beautifully fresh and vibrant. Diana

Very nice Carole I think if you wanted you could produce a great big vase of flowers in a still life ,is love to see it

Beautiful Carole, Japanese influence?

Oh! Carole (nearly burst into song then) one stroke of your paint brush and you have produced another beauty David Harrison

Such impact Carole, it's lovely!

Stunning in it's simplicity Carole.

I love the colour and form in the flowers Carole and immediacy

Thanks all for your kindness. Yes a Japanese, Chinese influence Karen I always admire their style. David you are going back some! Oh Carole, I had that record;)

Lovely, minimalist painting - very oriental in style, with nice touches of dry brush and gorgeous reds.

You've made every stroke count Carole. Simply effective.

Swift and beautiful.

I love it - in fact it encourages me to want to have a go at this lovely flower.

This has a lot of style Carole - I love the simplicity of it.

Thanks very much. Yes you have a go Michael;)

Simple yet so effective, Carole. It would make a lovely greetings card.

It makes me wish I could be as loose as this it's wonderfull

Lovely work Carole, held back on your usual eye for detail and gone for the looser approach. It works wonderfully, the Reds jump out at you.

Beautiful in its simplicity Carole. The dry brush is a refreshing change from wet in wet.

Wonderfully spontaneous and lively. It reminds me a little of a Chinese painting. Super work, Carole!

It's there just saying" Look at me!" I don't know if the paper is actually grey or has just photographed that way but it really sets the flower off.

Stunning in it's simplicity, Carole! Must be very satisfactory to do the petals in one stroke and to see how the flowers appear. Well done!

Thanks all for your generous encouraging comments.

Love your flowers
