Hi Carole. While browsing your floral portfolios, I found this stunning drawing of apple blossom which I first took to be a painting, such is the accuracy and depth of colour. Beautiful. I also really like your series of pansies in watercolour. They jump out at me. Very well done.

Thea I am so sorry to hear about your brother's death, it must have been a terrible shock for you and your family. Is he the artist I seem to remember you mentioning at one time? Please do not ever think that I would think you rude for not commenting, none of us are on this site all the time. Thank you for your kind words, Carole. It was dreadful as my brother went to bed ok that night and just didn't wake up in the morning. His daughter found him. The shock has been immense. Yes, he was the artist I talked about. He was a prolific urban sketcher and his pen and wash work is lovely. Luckily, he gave me one of his sketch books which I shall treasure. I just need to get the funeral over and then try and pick up the pieces. Life does seem to have a habit of slapping you in the face when you least expect it.
