Very effective Carole.

I like the idea Carole, but... Crop the painting just under the green and you have a stunning landscape which I think is better, the water becomes sky. I know I'm a menace...

That's very interesting Carole, this could be a three in one if you took up Alan's tip. It works any way, like it!

Nothing like a bit of 'sponging and splattering', very effective. I like it Carole!

It's a lovely two for one painting Carole! Quite magical what a simple sponge and toothbrush can do.

Beautiful painting Carole. I made a workshop with Andreas Kramer and in every painting I made he would have saved a little piece of painting saying: "You must crop the painting in this way, what remain is wonderful".

Thanks so much, I do appreciate advice from you all, you don't always see how to make little improvements. A fresh eye can work wonders :)

Though I like the original version Alan has a great eye and his advice was spot on. You could crop it just below the tree line and have two lovely paintings :)
