A cracking little sketch Carole, are you off there again soon?

This is a super little sketch Carole, it looks a wonderful place, nice crisp pen work.

Thank you Alan, it is a beautiful place. Yes Val on Friday. The blooming weather forcast has changed, now it will be showers and windy! My daughter will still drag me out up those hills come rain or shine ;)

Love the windswept look of the place, Carole. Agree with Alan - lovely pen work!

Really nice one Carole, fully agree great walk especially when you do the loop also agree it is great in snow, I have a painting on my gallery of this place in winter. Keep the pen work coming it's great.

There is a lot to get in here in a sketch, Carole. Well done, you have the ups and downs clearly shown. Hard to follow with a painting!!?

Lovely work Carole, that's a super landscape, love those windswept trees.

Thanks so much. Yes Malcolm it's a great walk going the long way round as I call it. It certainly is windswept along there, also after rain you have to climb up through the flowing stream!

Super sketch Carole, I remember doing walks around here in my youth....long time ago! Fabulous part of the country, I'm biased though, as I'm a Derbyshire lass.

Great little drawing Carole, simplicity at it's best!

Had many a sandwich and cuppa by these Norman ruins. A beautiful area beautifully depicted.

Lovely sketch, very atmospheric. I love peveril castle, visited it many times

Thank you, pen work really makes for spontaneity.

A quick pen drawing of one of my favourite walks in Castleton. This view is beautiful in sunshine but even more when covered in snow.
