What a fabulous colour Carole, I don't think I've seen this colour day lily before, mine are all orange. This painting is beautiful.

Thank you Margaret, I have a lovely goldy yellow one as well. I did emphasise the th shades in this with some cadmium red to bring it to life a bit as the flower is a dull deep red, pretty though.

Just Gorgeous!

Like Margaret mine are all orange too Carole but this is so dark and rich with subtle tones, it's gorgeous.

Beautiful colour, Carole. Lovely watercolour.

Another beauty...love the richness in colour...

Lovely work, I am guessing in watercolours.

Fantastic work, Carole. Sumptuous colour, and you've even included some of that seed (a bit like dust) that gets everywhere.

Oh yes...that's gorgeous, Carole, Love the way you've softened the stem, superb colour too!

Beautiful Carole as ever

Thanks ever so much for your lovely comments. Yes Jola it's in watercolour. Lew glad you noticed the pollen :)

Beautiful Carole and I love that deep colour

The fantastic colour, dusting of pollen and excellent detail all go to make this a wonderful painting. Just gorgeous. Brian
