This gnarled old tree trunk makes an interesting picture. Dont stop painting!!

Carole, this is simply stunning! And the watercolor works magnificently with the sketch. And yes, PLEASE don't stop painting! I always look forward to your postings.

Thank you very much both of you for your kind encouragement.

As you probably know, trees are one of my favourite subjects, Carole. And I must say: I am really jealous that this is not my drawing! Sooo beautifully drawn and a fabulous green touch: fantastic!!

Carole. just Browsing through your drawing gallery. Marvellous work.. I like your soft, gentle way . This piece is so elegant and I love the colours. Hope to see more..

Thank you Mia and Ping for your kind comments.

What a wonderfully interesting tree. I can see why it inspired you to paint it. Love the lichens clinging to the bark and the wonderful shapes of the branches. Very striking work.

What fantastic shapes you have captured here, lovely use of colour too.

Well worth waiting for Carole, Amazing shapes beauitifully drawn and the added watercolour is the iceing on the cake.

Superb! You've reall caught the essence of this old tree - they make such wonderful subjects.

Thanks so much William, lesley and Avril. Your comments mean a lot to me.

You are such a talented artist and this watercolour sketch is beautiful. :-)
