This has just opened out. A robust clematis with fat buds and strong stalks. The flower has eight petals (just don't count them on my painting) :)

A lovely clean painting. Its always nice to see a pale flower portrayed with delicate shadow and carefully placed darks to highlight their form, very nice, Carole.
