Beautiful Textures 😍

Fabulous textures and autumn colours Carole!

Like all those different textures

Totally love this. Almost looks like embroidery.

Very interesting textures, Carole.

Great textures Carole, reminds me of lichen on a rock.

I love the layers in this, and your combination of colours and textures.

This is wonderful Carole.

This is so tactile and such a lovely array of autumnal objects Carole. Beautifully achieved.

Thanks very much for your interesting comments.

great colour harmony Carole. No spiders this time, maybe a caterpillar though.

Thank you John. No spiders on the painting but I’ve just caught a massive spider on my kitchen floor, he’s now residing in the garden😱

Great depth of colour and texture Carole

Wow! fabulous textures here Carole.

Another gorgeous adaptation of nature Carole……gorgeous. I’ve been collection Lichens to make ink from and this reminds me of the Oak leaf Lichen.

Thanks so much everyone. Fiona I hope you will show us your ink work, sounds very interesting, there’s a lot of lichen around here at the moment.

Love the textures and autumnal palette Carole!

You are very kind Spencer thank you.

What a great result Carole! You really have created a depth of texture and layers which I feel I could pick up. Excellent!

A few media, Schmincke aqua modelling paste (coarse) from back of cupboard, still ok! Watercolour ground and gauze which is trying to represent cobwebs. Watercolour paint. 5.5” square.
