Love this splash of colour Carole :)

We had the bee club, then the Dentritic club (or was it the other way round? ) so why not an abstract acrylic ink club? Anyway this is a beauty Carole.

Fascinating textures, Carole, this fairly shines forth in a brilliant blaze, very exciting work and powerful too!

Gorgeous palette, beautiful textures. Super work, Carole!

This is striking, Carole. Inks produce such vibrant colours which are often difficult to achieve with watercolour. Would be interested to know how you achieved the different textures in the painting.

Thank you! This was a trial on a piece of paper. I used medical gauze for the net imprint. Yes Michael why not abstract challenge I've run out of bees :)

Lovely vibrant colours- well done.

Allright, we have an abstract competition here :) a strong enty this is.

I see earth, wind, sea and fire, all woven into a very exciting image. So much to discover. These inks are making me very curious ; do you recommend watercolour paper as the best ground to use Carole ?

This is a cracker Carole and the perfect start for a new challenge! It's set the bench mark pretty high though......just thought, I don't have any acrylic inks, only gold!lol I may have to sit this challenge out.....boo hoo!

Thank you very much everyone for your kind comments. Karen yes I like watercolour paper for the inks preferably heavier weight than 140lbs but this is ok if you are not drenching the paper. Fiona get buying some inks they are on offer at Jackson's until end of August, you will make some beautiful paintings.

Fabulous colours and shapes Carole. Smashing.

Inks are such great fun, aren't they, Carole? It seems like you enjoyed splashing these glorious colours on, and I bet you felt good afterwards?????? Great stress relief!

Nice painting Carole I can see at least two side profiles of faces was it intentional carole

Stunningly brilliant and beautiful Carole

Very effective Carole and quite a powerful image. I must own up to never having been a follower of abstract art and have never tried it myself, probably because I have never understood the concept, so this is one challenge I do not think I will be joining. But still a really colourful piece of work and well done for doing it.

I love strong colour and these acrylic inks certainly produce very vibrant images, this is spectacular Carole. Can't wait to have a go myself!

Super- duper!

Thanks again for your lovely comment.
