Love the play with focus, looks like you enjoyed trying your acrylics out xx

Yes you do have to try something and its worked well looks promising for the future.

Thank you for your encouragement, Lesley and Dennis. Still prefer acrylic inks and watercolour 🤔

It's good to have a change Carole....that way you find out what medium you really love to work in. I'm still experimenting!lol If this is your beginning in Acrylics we've got some smashers to look forward to.

Excellent first effort, showing nice diversity. Well done Cesare.

Sorry Carole, brain freeze, started spelling wrong and predictive took over. ..Well done Carole.

Very different and very nice Carole.

Worked very well Carole, keep experimenting!

Lovely painting Carole, I love your imagination :)

This is a lovely piece and do keep trying - if this anything to go by you will soon master it - but why not also try a few abstracts using palette knives. With your eye for shapes and form I am sure that after a bit of practice you will turn out some great work.

Thank you very much all. Have to look for that knife now!🔪😳 ;)

Looks like it could be a great sledge run now with the snow we have!

is there nothing you can't turn your hand to Carole? LOL A great thirty minute exercise.

Thanks Val, I don't find them easy!

I really like this Carole, it is a very atmospheric picture. You have used the acrylics very much as you would watercolour..lovely.

The thumbnail suggested a flock of sheep to me Carole. Good first try, therefore I can't ask how they compare with the W&N products, more expensive I guess.

This has a lot of potential, Carole. I like the atmospheric feel of the piece. You just need to get used to it and you'll be up and running in no time!
