Sorry, on it's side again!

very beautiful, lovely effects with watercolour

Truly beautiful Carole, I'm trying to work out which are the collaged elements, the doilies and leaves perhaps?

Hi Carole its superbly painted you really are a delicate artist Carole

.. so it is! It's even more gorgeous the right way up. You can replace photos without losing the comments etc. ...

Lovely Carole and the collage is used to great effect!!

Thanks Lisa, Christine and Dennis. Christine you are right, the bottom doilie is glued on and the orange one is a stencil. The leaves are tissue paper.

Thanks Gudrun and thanks Debs.

Gudrun I have used my iPad and it seems to have a mind of it's own!

Whichever way up, it's gorgeous Carole!!

Beautiful Carole, the collage is so delicate , bright and lovely :)

Lovely lacy ladies Carole

Lovely lacy ladies Carole

I have a distinct prejudice against collage, but when it works it tends to do so triumphantly, and it works here. Even though it is on its side, it still reads perfectly well. Can't move the neck much at the moment, so don't know if it would look even better the right way up.

You definatly have a way with flowers

Thanks all, you are very encouraging. I really appreciate your feedback on this.

You've put those doilies to good use Carole this is really gorgeous.

Very original and I love the doilie collage; its very effective

This is stunning! Love the colours.<br />

Val Lorraine and Barbara, thank you so much, really appreciate your kind comments.

Absolutely fabulous, Carole! That combination of textures, shapes and beautiful hues is irresistible!

Gorgeous, Carole - the heat and sun of those flowers is enough to warm up the coldest day. Glowing and beautiful work.

About the Artist
Carole Swingler

Self- taught artist, I have dabbled in watercolours for many years on and off. My first love is flower painting in watercolour. Now trying many different media including acrylic inks, gouache, all types of pencils to try loose-ish semi abstract images.
