Lovely feel to this Fiona. The multi patterns are so cleverly done and the red of the Amaryllis gives the whole painting a glow.

Another attempt at the Amaryllis, this time using a little oil pastel and inktense pencil. A little looser in places, but miles to go!

After a career teaching Science, I am now retired and have time to enjoy a local Art class. I find pastel suits my style but I also enjoy trying to use water colours to good effect. I love painting flowers but also enjoy buildings, which so far I have painted from photos I have taken.
