I thought that this was pastel work Fiona and so I think that you have reached your goal :) nice, zingy lemon.

Missed this lemon. Another simple shape with interesting composition, ie the curve top left. Good colours as well. You've made two good paintings out of two single items of fruit!

That lemon looks really zingy against your muted blue and grey background (which was a perfect choice in my view). I think you are going great guns with getting to grips with working in oils and you seem to be taking an intelligent and steady approach to building up your experience. I know it will pay off in the end.
