Love the immediacy of this - such free expression and a lovely 'feel'

Lots of atmosphere here Fiona, the clouds look very ominous!

Thank you Michael, thank you Stephen.....I know it isn't technically very good but I wanted to try and capture some of the atmosphere of that sudden down pour.......I was wearing most of what came out of that cloud!!!

You caught the athmosphere really well Fiona, lovely sketch

Agree with everyone - you've really captured the atmosphere here, Fiona. It's quite, quite lovely.

A really good impression again Fiona of the strength of the mountains, and interesting that you explained the materials you used.

Thank you Petra, Seok, Jane.....I think in the end it was worth the soaking!!! I appreciate your comments.

Lovely, so oriental looking.

Following on from my last posting of 'Canisp' and my drenching, I did this quick charcoal & chalk sketch back in the car, of 'Suilven' slowly disapearing under heavy cloud. Would you believe such a change in the weather from the bright day of 'Canisp' and this??!! Done on scrapbook sugar paper with charcoal & chalk.
