Life on the edgelands by Emma Price

Birds, bugs and wildflowers abound on the scrubby, grassy edgelands around Middlesbrough - land that’s seen as valueless by some local politicians but of immense value to wildlife, and to me as I explore it during my lunch breaks. Even peregrine falcons can occasionally be seen hunting.
