It's tricky to work out where the water ends and the land - if you can call this gloopy tidal mud land - begins. But it does produce interesting light effects. Three teal dozing in the mud at Greatham Creek, Teesmouth. Watercolour, 7x10”; Naples Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Permanent Rose, Light Red, Cobalt blue, with Viridian and Aureolin for the green flash.
