Beachcombers
Purple sandpipers having a good rummage through the seaweed and shells left by the tide. These tough little wading birds - which aren’t purple at all - migrate to the UK each winter - some of our local ones have come all the way from Svalbard. Watercolour on Not paper, 14x10cm.
