Redpoll in the roses

This is a common redpoll, which isn’t really that common in the UK - they just tend to stop off on migration back to Scandinavia. First time I’ve ever seen one, and she only stopped very briefly, so this had to be done from photos and memory (apart from the rose bush). Watercolour on Arches HP, 10 x 7 ".
