Whatever’s going on, the sparrows always have some of the group on sentry duty - well-needed, as there’s been a sparrowhawk about for the last few weeks. They always give the alarm when I go outside, but once they realise who it is they come back and start chirping furiously at me for giving them such an unnecessary fright. Watercolour 14x10".
