This is beautifully painted. The bird's pose is spot on. We're not seeing so many sparrows now, even house sparrows...they used to be commonplace.

This is only the second tree sparrow I’ve ever seen in the garden. I guess he was travelling, and stopped to rest and feed; he spent a good two hours solidly munching down the bird feeder, then went on his way.
