Sorry, Heather - I just realised I omitted the medium from the description at the bottom! This was done in soft pastel (mainly pastel pencils) on 7x5” pastelboard. ☺️

I drew a similar portrait four years ago (which was in fact my first venture into wildlife art!) I really love the intensity of the tiger’s gaze and so I wanted to do something similar but on a much smaller scale. This petite little tiger measures 7” x 5”. This will be on display at the Exhibition of Wildlife Art from Friday 26 July until Sunday 28 July at Gordale Garden Centre. Reference photo: David Whelan, Wildlife Reference Photos.
