That's fabulous Ellen.

This is very good Ellen, especially the hair.

Beautifully drawn , a very talented young lady,

Fabulous, she is so talented.

Wow, such detail for a tiny size. Obviously a talented family!

Wonderful! I’d need a magnifying glass…..exc tonal values.

Oh to have the eyesight to attempt such a project! Lovely work Lily

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments on Lily’s tiny portrait. She celebrated her 18th birthday two days ago and laughed at the memory of this passport photo, because her mummy had already put two lots of money in the photo booth because she was smiling, so she told her off. Lily said she can remember having a ‘strop’…..hence no smiling and a stern face!

Well done to Lily!

Thank you for your lovely comments, Diane.

Very nice portrait. I have just one small criticism... The left eye is larger than the right eye. View the image upside down or latrev'd and you will see what I mean.

This tiny little self portrait of Lily when she was age six, is part of her homework for her forthcoming foundation course at art college in September. She was asked to draw a tiny portrait to go on a paint brush!
