Hang on Studio Wall

In the style of Howard Hodgkin 1932-2017 This has taken me longer to do than I had envisaged. I had the idea of a rock pool with the incoming tide lapping over. It’s painted on a plywood panel incorporated into a frame….how difficult could it be! Well….as it turned out, it was complicated, in as much as I painted the panel in situ with frame, something totally new to me and out of my comfort zone. After a lot of alterations and copious amount of paint, I was finally happy with the results.
