I love it when artists say they are pleased with a piece. This certainly works so well. I love the beautifully soft wet in wet in contrast with the foreground.

Feeling pleased with today’s effort. Watercolour 27cm x 37cm Arches rough 300gsm. Alfred Cove on the Swan River. A mix of wet into wet, dry brush, granulation mixture and masking fluid. Using only 3 colours. Indigo, Burnt Sienna and Yellow Ochre. Studio painted from my photo taken on an early morning walk. After that I went to Jacksons in Alfred Cove and spent a lot of money on more art supplies.
