Hi Spencer and Bobbie - this area has for centuries been a busy hub for human activity. The setting for this digital photo looked very painterly. And cinematic too. I chose a time when the market would be very busy and selected a view looking towards St Paul's Church in the piazza. St Paul's is the Actors Church because of the area's theatrical association. Thanks for your feedback.

By digital image, do you mean a photograph rather than a digital painting? Whilst I very much like photos I cant see that this is a painting as in other comments

Hi Jon, Spencer and Bobbie. Yes Jon, you're right. This image is a digital photo and not a digital painting. My photos tend to have a painterly aspect. I regard photography as a distinct form of visual interpretation. And I think the digital tech is wonderful for allowing people to explore and develop their ideas. Perhaps, I'm an old school anachronism!

A digital image of how this historic London setting looks before Christmas. The architecture on different levels made a scale for both people and the perspective. The absence of motor vehicles also enhanced the activities of the buzz.
