Thanks Chris, Spencer, Diane, Heather , Paul and Martin. The bus was moving slowly because of traffic and heavy rain. When Darby and Joan got on the No 24 they were spattered by the rain and sat upstairs near the front of the bus. I thought the intimacy of this close couple made for a tender depiction. And I much appreciate your sensitive comments.

A drawing from life on the upstairs of a No 24 bus travelling to Pimlico. I liked the gentle gravitas of the elderly couple. On an A4 size paper. Watercolour with Indian ink and brush.
