This is spectacular Steven. That fiery red against the beautiful gradations of blues/greys is breathtaking. I also love those vertical reflections and the patch of light on the right. So inspiring.

I love this, Stevan. So striking, so alive. Beautiful rich colours, but retaining great transparency. And the combination of both abstraction and realism works fantastically.

Creating abstract backgrounds and adding features to bring a dose of reality to my pictures is one of lifes great pleasures for me, by using strong colours I have achieved a piece that I'm pleased with. The scot's pine were spotted off the east coast of Scotland and I frequently add these to my pictures.
