Surviving the elements
Whilst driving west from Giggleswick on a particularly wet and miserable afternoon I spotted this tree clinging to a rock face. Over the years it has been pruned and bent by the elements such that it now has a profile to match the rock face. I've tried a couple of times to create a picture that I'm happy with and this is the most suitable so far. I'm particularly pleased with the abstract rocks that I feel ties the image to the limestone of the Yorkshire dales.
