I like the abstract feel to this, Steven. I’m a fan too of John Blockley, although I paint in acrylics/acrylic inks.

Paths of broken stone always lead somewhere. When the moon is full and not obscured by clouds it lifts the stones by shining on them. The piece is developed from Prussian blue with gold sienna laid on a random application of gesso to generate texture. The cracked look of the stones is produced with graphit coloured fine liner.
