Not just a simple sketch Stevan, it’s dynamic. Lovely colour harmony and stark contrasts, just like the elements you want to capture.

This picture has a very organic feel to it both for its subject matter and choice of colour. I particularly like the semi-abstract composition, too. No indication of size, but would be great if it were A3!

I am intrigued by the features in the Pennine landscape where I live. The hawthorns, dry stone walls, tumbling water and the rolling hills. This picture was an attempt to depict some of these features in a looser style than my usual efforts. For a simple sketch I'm pleased with the results.
