Very arresting and dramatic. Lava flow spring to mind, which I suppose formed the rocks and landscape. Intriguing work.

The foreground has a random base of gesso before applying water color. The wood on the domed hill is typical of transition between the Pennines and the dales north west of Skipton. The red foreground is an attempt to bring more drama to a simple landscape.
