Really soft and delicate picture - and completed with coloured pencils, terrific. Have you tried pan pastels? Check out Jason Morgan on YouTube, he's amazing. Great work.

Thank you Emma and thank you too Alan, I have had a go with pastel pencils and quite liked them and will certainly take a look at Jason Morgan as you suggest. I would never have believed you could get such a soft look with coloured pencils if I hadn't seen it happening before my eyes!

Coloured pencils on grey strathmore paper A4 size. I have been learning about layering with coloured pencils and really enjoy the process and outcome and think they will be something I will keep on using. Did this little bird as part of the challenge week on a course I am doing.

Couldn't draw, didn't know where to start before 2022 but then have undertaken online course and put in plenty of practise and at least know how to approach things now. Just need to keep up the practise!
