Nicely painted Fen, the paper looks so well grounded underneath the cups, its folds and raw edges and the overall position where placed certainly show proportion and weight well too, well done!

Oil Still Life painted on Arches 100% cotton, 300g fine paper. Very impressed with this paper: edges stayed intact when painting ground over them (unlike the Rowney product that picked up slight frays into the paint). No gesso required and worked very well without it. Picture measures 9 x 12 inches approx. Palette of Yellow Ochre, Alizarin Crimson, French Ultra Marine, Viridian and Lemon Yellow plus Titanium White used to mix previous colours for lighter tones.
