A lovely monochromatic scene, expressing such a quiet and cold winter's day. Very nice technique Diana, and I really like the washes on the old stone castle walls...

The little use of colour on the castle gives this a nice lift. Good drawing skills shown here too. As it is quite detailed, I feel the reflection needs a little attention, exact reflections are very difficult I tend to blur mine!

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I'm pleased that you pointed out the reflection... It's ruining the scene. Every time I looked at it I homed in on that reflection. I may try the blurred technique!! Thanks for your help
