This is a quick sketch done on a day out in the New Forest. It's done in graphite pencil. I had great fun trying to sketch this as my husband and young daughter were playing in the middle of the scene all the time. Every time I chose an area to draw it felt like they chose the same place to play. As you can see I gave up on trying to produce a finished image, but concentrated instead on trying to get down a few hints of the Forest that I can use in later drawings - hence the name! Done on 12 June 2010.
