Thanks for your message re Paynes Grey, always useful to know. I do actually like PG although it does dry so much lighter you have to compensate for it and it can go wrong. The late Ron Ranson used it to great effect as you will know, although he wasn't a great artist some of his work is rather good.

Was out and about yesterday morning a beauty of a day and I painted this at the local canal it was beautifully peaceful and only me and the ducks about ; there was more foliage about but I stripped it back because we can do as we will as artists ??
