Being a keen gardener, Christopher Lloyd is a hero of mine but I have never been lucky enough to visit Great Dixter. It is on my wish list of things to do. Love your sketch which catches the atmosphere of his lovely garden and beautiful timbered house.

Thanks Thea. The guy in the pay box said wander around if you want, no need to pay!! But I didn't, there is a small stone bench just inside from his station and that was fine. Lots of people stopped to chat which I don't mind.

Ink and wash sketch on the spot while my my wife paid to go in as I am not interested in gardens and the house, which is all the work of Christopher lloyd, apparently a famous gardener.
