Super sketch and although I understand well the value of leaving some parts unpainted, I do feel that the reclining man needs tiny bit of tone on him as, being so white, my eye went straight to him rather than moving about the painting. Your expertly drawn figures are a joy.

Thanks Thea, as I said it wasn't intentional, just time and a demanding wife. I do enjoy capturing figures in all the many positions.

Not sure why it is, but I rather like the white man! He seems to add to the honesty of the sketch somehow and the fact that you had to rush off somewhere is so true to life!!!
