I like this composition, Derek - particularly how you've arranged the various objects and how the lamp ties them together. The texture is wonderful.

Lovely composition , really well painted , elipses not quite matching but everything else in the composition spot on.

Still life from a ref image in good old Wet Canvas. 22 x 26cms on paper. Struggled to say the least, but that's challenges when you ask for them. Not sure about the shadows yet, cobbled them in to cover careless smudges.
