I love looking at peoples sketch books Derek, you always get the 'honest' work I think. I've only got a couple but it must be great to have volumes of them that have been collected over the years. Lovely work.

I love my sketch books, sometimes I struggle to crawl out of them.... These are wonderful would love to see more....

Pendil then ink sketch, Two pages from my first sketch book in 1989 while exploring this smashing area in N.Yorkshire. We climbed up Gorsdale Scar and carried on walking. Back to a pub probably.
