I did it yesterday morning.

Quite envious - it's not often I get to a concert featuring real music these days - I remeber seeing John Lill back in the 70's - a superb pianist. anyway I see you're still in pink mode and this captures the excitement of it all.

Thanks Michael, never thought of the pink mode but yes s'pose so, not intentional.

Pink is a great background for this. It takes you to the stage with lights and music and then the players silhouetted against it creates a lovely scene.

Lovely and lively image Derek. Pleased you had great evening.

This is so atmospheric Derek, and I really like the colour palette you've used.

Nice one Derek super love the pink background

Have to agree the pink works, and the figures create a nice sense of atmosphere, like it Derek.

Thanks Cliff, Andre and Christine

Love the colours in this Derek, especially that turquoise patch at the bottom set against the pink.

What's a bow here and there? It has captured the essence beautifully.

Cheers Jenny, that patch was a good mistake. Thanks Gudrun

This is superb, Derek - the power of suggestion at its best.

Attended a BSO concert on Thur 28th at Portsmouth Guildhall as usual about once a month. What a top class orchestra they are. We had John Lill performing Beethoven 3rd Piano Concerto. Superb evening with meal at the across the road Wetherspoons earlier. I got this idea at the time and created this in about 40 mins this morning as loose as I could, with charcoal drawing then credit cards. Got the players violin bows wrong, too much acrylic on cards, should know better now. So may attempt it again

Eleventyeight as my hashing pals called my new age recently, it's supposed to sound better. Trying to paint every day in acrylics using only expired credit/debit cards, and partially succeeding as they're only for me and not show these days.
