Hi Derek this is nice , all your recent work has a freshness to it i think it is a great improvement. I love your credit card technique it gives you marks a sharp and confident feel, i think mark making plays an enormous part in the success or failure of a painting . That's why often our sketches have a quality that is often lost in a more finished piece. Any you nailed mate to use one of your phrases, well done .
