Thank you Thea. I think it could be darker, but that's it. I like to show the ref if I can, it helps viewers.

Your interpretation of the scene is intriguing, Derek. I like how you simplified the shapes and made it more impressionistic.

This mornings exercise from an image plucked from the ref libary of Wet Canvas. Bit of brush work then all credit card, on a discarded unfinished watercolour using some of the shapes on it, some exposed. 30 x 20cm on 140Bockingford
