I really like this painting, Dennis - very effective loose style, and the complementary colours work very well...

Many thanks Jan and Romilla very quick 😎

A really superb painting Dennis, wonderful scene just my thing!

This has cheered me up - cheers Dennis.

Happy to be of assistance Ronald

Love the Summer colours, a great scene and viewpoint Dennis.

A really lovely painting, Dennis. Love the colours you have used especially the blue.

Yes this is amazing Dennis!

Many thanks Carole Anne and Guy 😎

Another good 'un Dennis. Really like the colours, composition and the small figures add so much. Super work!

Like it. Lovely loose semi-impressionist work Dennis.

Super Dennis. I particularly like the viewpoint and the use of orange for highlights. Like how you've painted the figures too - they're there but not there if you know what I mean

Great painting, Dennis, love the viewpoint.

Many thanks Heather and Jenny yes they were not star of the show 😎

Nicely done Dennis, nice pallet and its great you have included the Cobbles (fishing boats to those who do not know) I use to spend some of my childhood holidays at Flamborough at was was then a tiny caravan park above Big Thornwick Bay, it has change a lot since then, there use to be an old gentleman at the car park above North Landing with a bright red face from the weather he use to collect parking fees and the Lifeboat was still there.

Many thanks Malcolm we went there most of my childhood. There used to be a few chalets there too. I got really proficient skipping over the dangerous rocks caught and ate many crabs and the occasional lobster. Those were the days

Love the soft focus approach and just the indication of figures and boats Dennis. Really admire your style here, quite a challenge using acrylics.

This is a beautiful painting, I love the colours you have used.

Many thanks Carole yes they take a lot of learning and very kind Hilary

Great, Dennis !!

The boats just make it.
