Great use of oil pastels, Dennis.

Many thanks Cesare very much appreciated

To see work like this is tempting me to have a go with these things Dennis. I do have a small selection unused from a prize in the LP for a letter.

They're great for small work Alan and ideal for colours studies. I have 48 which I purchased with the great art prize

Love the subject, Dennis, and the oil pastels are really effective. (I thought it was ordinary pastel at first - what brand of oil pastels did you get?)

Many thanks Jenny I got Caran D Ache neopastel extra fine oil pastel

Terrific! Love the palette, especially the blocky greens against the red calf lovely

Many thanks Thalia too kind

Lovely painting Dennis.

Dennis, you could bankrupt me very easily with your fantastic oil pastel paintings. This is another beautifully executed scene...love it!

Don't want to bankrupt you Fiona and I'm sure the painting will live through the times. Thank you

I love it, Dennis. Full of originality.

Many thanks Shirley very much appreciated

Your oil pastels get better and better. Love the colours and the cow with her calf.

Wow Dennis! Lovely!

Many thanks Sandra and Tanusree very much appreciated

I do not usually like cow painting but I love this one Dennis

With oil pastels, is having more colours and advantage? Would 24 be deficient?

I love the style. Full of energy and life.

I think 24 would be fine Gudrun no point spending too much if in the end you don't use them and many thanks Georgiana

Thanks Dennis. I'm toying with the idea of adding them to my repertoire having seen what you can produce with them.
