That’s very nice, looks like a pub you’re in.

That's different Dennis. Nice work.

I like this, Dennis. It's very different to the usual 'selfie.'

Many thanks Justin Jim and Lewis very much appreciated

I like your application of oil pastel they are not easy to me. Great Dennis.

It's got the feel of an old master , if I saw it in a book it would fit in perfectly Dennis.

Great positioning of the figure (yourself) Dennis, this has created maximum impact and the chair in front is a masterstroke of genius.

It's got impact Dennis, great colours.

Works well Dennis, you certainly get the best out of your oil pastels.

It could be in a van Gogh gallery no one would bat an eyelid , it conveys a sort of loneliness and sadness Dennis which I love, I do hope it's not how your feeling though mate.

I love this - reminds me of Kossof's group of artists from the 60's. or was it 70's? my history fails me!

Moody and atmospheric Dennis. Good colour as well.

Many thanks Carole it's all difficult to me you are too kind Dennis very tired and it's always hard at first in a new place on your own you are too kind Alan Margaret Barry

Many thanks Geogina I know the work and Louise very kind

Good morning Dennis. Hope you are sitting comfortably. :) I like the large space you placed yourself in.

Super impact to this. Love the roundback chair, Unusual but very effective take on a selfie

Brilliant: brilliant composition as Alan has said.. By the way your framing of it is perfect. Perhaps I ought to try oil pastels too.

Many thanks Thalia and you might get to like them Gudrun and ideal for additions to almost any medium

Ah! Just seen this after commenting on the chair. I see and this works too
