Lovely impressionist view of the docks, Dennis - I knew them well, I used to work in the Dock Offices as a teenager, many years ago -though the docks have changed a lot since then. I like the distant horizon leading to ports and countries far afield. The light on the water is very effective

Many thanks Pat and Glennis

Nice one, Dennis. How big are these paintings? It's difficult to get a sense of scale.
Lovely feeling of the industrial docks, but you have cleverly only hinted at the shapes, shadows and light which has made a delightfully loose painting.

Many thanks Matthew and Thea half imperial Matthew

Lovely moody painting with a splendid atmosphere

I like softness of the spacious washes.

Many thanks Dermot and Carole

Just about to say the same thing Dennis, then I read your text. A good loose style as I always love in your work, I'm posting my other effort shortly, a revamp, I think that I like it better. Well done anyway.
Thanks Alan looking forward to seeing it

Don't hold your breath, I hate to disappoint people.

Love the light Dennis and the far misty details.

Beautifully done, Dennis. Superb balance of cool and warm colors.
