I no longer travel by air - bit too long in the tooth for such activities I guess, but I still like to use my sketch book in places where people tend to congregate. I came across this sketch made some years ago whilst waiting for a plane to take me to Massachusetts. Locations such as this are always a challenge. People are constantly on the move and you have to be quick making your marks. I am pleased with the way this sketch turned out. Nowadays my ‘people places’ tend to be the bars in the Sportsman on a Friday evening after the Art Club!
