I also have sketch book pages with exactly the same subject. Yes it is a good time whiler away.

I always think about doing this in the terminal but feel I may intrude someone's privacy and shy away from it. Seeing this, I might have a go next time. And yes, what a great way to spend the wait. Wait, I might recognise myself in this crowd ;)

Don’t be shy ibolya! Try it sometime. Far from offending people (most people are too engrossed with their own business anyway) you can make some interesting friends. I recall sketching in a busy market place in a hilltop town in Tuscany when a group of German ladies became aware of what I was doing. Despite language difficulties I got the message that they wanted to be included in my sketch. A few ink lines and a few blobs of bright colours and the job was done. They were delighted and I felt as though i’d helped cement Anglo-German relationships!

I love this, Dennis. I’m always nervous at doing just the same, as I might get people looking over my shoulder and objecting in some way! Time would certainly pass by quicker though.

You can spend hours waiting for your flight. Those hours seem to go faster when you have a sketch book handy.
